I provide private, supervision of court ordered parent-child visitation, as well as assist in the reintroduction of a parent into a child's life.  There are many situations in family law cases affecting the parent-child relationship.  I serve as a neutral third party to oversee visitation without forcing the affected individuals to go to an agency or facility.  I have found that these traditional settings for visitation can be stigmatizing or intimidating to everyone involved.  I conduct visits in my office, in the home or other locations in the community. The reasons for referral to supervised visitation can include:

• sexual abuse of a child
• physical abuse of a child
• emotional abuse of a child
• domestic violence
• kidnapping
• drug and alcohol abuse by a parent
• mental illness of a parent
